Actually we got her when we got the other 4 hens last night. I have her in a crate right now inside the big pen. The big girls went into coop last night with the established flock. They are sorting out the pecking order lol.

Well I'm not sure. should I? We have 7 hens and a RIR rooster. The guy who gave her to me said the bigger chickens would peck her to death since she is so small.

I am interested in answers as well. I have had the same problem with some od mine. I treated a young hen with antibiotics as well as my rooster. I also purchased oxine to spray down the coop and add to their water. I sprayed the rooster with it...he didn't like it but is likes me now! Good...
