    This is what the chic looks like now, almost full grown....It turned out to be a rooster, but I let my niece name it and she says it is Jane...lol

    Like I said my intention was to throw them all away until someone on here told me how to see if there alive and to my surprise I am still hatching chicks, 2 survive out of 6 so far but I now have them in a controlled environment so who knows what will happen, here is a pic of one taken earlier...

    I have had a total of 6 hatch and only two have survived, one hatched yesterday morning and is doing well, drinking and eating already and getting around good this is him in the pictures. I also just had another hatch about 3 hours ago and he is not moving much but alive. I probably had too many...

    He must of cut his upper beak on the shell, he did not make it over night.

    What does that mean the yolk sack is still active? I cannot sell him yet, I want to see how this goes and how many hatch....I will consider hatching you some though let me get through this first trial and error period!

    This little guy hatched around 10 am today and his beak was bleeding from the top inside and out, it has not bled since but was just curious to this being the norm?
