Once a chick starts peeping.. whats the longest it can take to pop thru.. I have one who started this morning and the hole is only a tad bit larger now???? Like, not big at all??

My chciks are due to hatch tonight or tomorrow, the humidity went down to 69.. if I cant open the incubator top, how do I add water to get the humidity back up? Temp is 100.5.. do ya think everything is OK?

Hi group, I am new to raising chickens.. today was the 21st day with chicks in my incubator, the power went out for about 40 minutes, temp went down to 80 degrees and humidity went down to 50... did I lose them all now? :o(
