Bantam Millie chick can’t walk right

My last post didn’t get a response so I’m trying again: I have a bantam chick where her feet sit above her wings and she sits on her hocks. Bandaids or rubber bands don’t fit her and are too big or just don’t stick because of her feathers. Anything else I can try?

    Bantam baby sitting on hocks

We haven’t been lucky with getting porcelain chicks so we’re trying to keep this baby alive. Her hocks are raw.

    Bantam baby sitting on hocks

I have a Millie baby that was hatched yesterday and they seem to sit on their hocks and will only scoot around. How do I correct this?

    Same Situation-More Dead Chickens

I see. However, I do have a problem with chicken bullying and a bit of molting and I'm trying to fix their feathers. Is it bad to mix the two feeds together?

We haven't calibrated the thermometers and the hygrometer. The feed isn't old, got it from the store and poured it into the chickens' feed right after getting it.

Thanks! I feed them feather fixer. I often give them toast and scrambled eggs with a bit of shells in them.

    Same Situation-More Dead Chickens

Last year I hatched two chickens. The rest didn't make it. The membrane was the problem. There isn't a vitamin deficiency, we made sure we feed bread and eggs. This year, so far, 5 chicks didn't make it. Fully developed, but it's the membrane! Cracked them open, gorgeous little babies(4 black...

    Chickens won’t stop pecking

x2 with Crazy for Chickens! If you can pinpoint the main bullies, I would take them out and isolate them for a while. It would lower then down in ranks.

Welcome to BYC!:frow It'd be a lot more helpful if you changed the titles- many people may think you're in Washington state and not Phoenix! I'd take them; but I'm trying to do a project with my breeding chickens and I'd have a lot more chickens than I should afterwards. Have a great day!
