Turns out she's damaged her knee, she's on pain killers which are helping a bit but if she hasn't improved by Monday then she needs X-rays! Only problem is, is that the male keeps knocking her over and hurting it even more
I've just had a proper look now and it looks like she has ripped out one of her claws and it looks like it has a nasty infection so I'm going to go down to the vets with her just to be sure! Thanks for your help
My 8 week old call duck had quite an ordeal over the weekend, she managed to fly out my garden and in to my neighbours garden and she got quit stressed out. I've just been out to see how she is and she's limping quite badly, is there anything I can do or anything I can give her to ease the pain?
Would anyone be able to tell me what age my call ducks will be able to fly, they are currently 5 weeks old and keep flapping their wings and jumping up and trying to fly
My call ducks are 4 weeks old, what feed should they be on? They are currently on starter crum. Sorry if it sound like a stupid question, I'm a newbie to ducks
My ducklings are 4 weeks old and I went to the food suppliers to get them some growers pellets but they told me I had to give them layers pellets! Is it too soon to give them layers pellets? Help!?!
My 4 week old call ducks have just come out of their brooder box a few days ago and started living outside but they are constantly calling for me every time I leave then alone. Does anyone has any suggestions to try and get them used to being alone or will they calm down as they get older?
