    Well, we found one of the eggs but not the other. It has some scratches on it that might be teeth or claw marks...not sure. Either way, they don't seem to be hers so I'm thinking something tried to make off with them and realized along the way that they weren't actually food. Still watching...

    Thanks! Will do. It had to be on a Sunday. All of our pets have had this tradition of waiting until a holiday or Sunday to do something that warrants an expedient viewing by the vet! Ugh...

    Our Silver Laced is a solid layer. She gets along nicely with the other gals and is a good flock member. She isn't full of personality or our best layer but her mellow disposition and ability to tolerate handling makes her a good addition to our well rounded flock.

    Our Barred Rock is one of the most reliable in our flock of many. She is calm, gets along with everyone, easy to handle, and doesn't really mind being toted around by our two boys. Very regular layer and hearty. Not bad as a forager. Super stable girl and good neighbor.
