    I have 6 Australorps, I've ahd them just over a week and when I got them I wads told they'd be laying in about a month. How can I tell when they are ready to lay, behaviour wise and when do I start feeding layer pellets? Thanks.

    :DThanks guys...yeah I meant celcius, which is about 100 degrees in F. I'll try and set up some sprinklers tomorrow and see how they like it...plus I'll freeze a few grapes to feed them.

    It's good to see other Aussies on here! I'm from West Wyalong, which is about a short jump from Cowra and a slightly bigger one to Bathurst - although I'm from England and have onbly lived Down Under for three years. I'm just embarking on my first chooks and can't wait.
