Ok. Sorry for all the questions.... but it was reading right and now it’s not... and then temp is WAY TOO low... like 97.3. But instead of heating up the temp is getting lower. Help?
I think I have the temps right. Is there a way to keep it from getting too high? Or to make it just right? Right now it’s on 98.7, it’s trying to heat up.... 99.5 is ideal right?
so I set another batch of eggs thinking I had it corrected. I think the temps were too high. I’ve lost 3. 2 pipped and died within hours, one hatched the died. So adjusting and crossing my fingers more hatch. At this point only 6 of 56 have hatched 😞
Ok. I have an incubator with an alarm for when the humidity is wrong. I bought a thing to check the humidity and temp on an old one. The incubator is reading 30% but my hygrometer says 53%.... which explains why a lot of my chicks drowned in the last hatching. But I don’t know how to change the...

the hen is in the dog house and hasn’t left yet with the new chick. She did get up and walk around today. Can I put this...
Not even sure if this is where to post this. I am wondering if you put a rooster on a red star and hatch the eggs will the red star pass down the excellent laying ability? Does it depend on the rooster? Like you would need a breed of rooster that is superb also?
Thanks!!! I always have problems with getting responses on here so I appreciate yours!
The barrel is what I was thinking about when I couldn’t sleep last night
I found some cups from rentacoop on Amazon I may try and just put a trough float on the barrel or stock tank. Then gravity feed to the...
I am due at the end of next month, live in north Florida and it’s hot! Right now I have to carry 5 gallon buckets in the coop to fill up the waterers. What I want to do is set up a system with pvc pipe and a hose to give hem fresh water. Just not sure what to use on the water end. I’ve heard...
