    Predator proof apron around whole coop/run structure. (Hardware cloth) Maybe remove the poop board completely and leave bottom open for more air? Make sure silkies can reach their roosts.

    There have been some good prefab coop renovations, here is one- https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/my-renovated-prefab-coop.1440258/#post-23876165 I would look at putting both coops in a larger run, dog kennels are often recommended.

    Welcome to forums! Where are you from? How are you winters? (If mild could you just forget the door and place the entire coop in a predator proof run??) Maybe start looking on Craigslist, Facebook, nextdoor for a door? Hopefully with a frame? Or build the frame?
