Lakewood, CA Backyard Chicken permit

I saw a post on this site that said you need a permit to have backyard chickens in Lakewood, CA, but the links for more information were dead. Does anyone on here live in Lakewood and have any experience with getting a permit from the city?

The city website doesn’t mention needing a permit, just keeping the coop 35’ from residences and 5 hens, no rooster…
