    yep are you de spurring your roosters that can help and just keep chicks separate in area they can see them but not get to them ....eventually they just accept new ones

    Always was thrilled when they went broody and hatched....my only problem was seems that there are way too many roos each time. Good article!

    I have gone both ways ... but everytime we hatch at home we end up with too many roos and then have to cut back give away or they kill each other

    I have 6 females for every male .... they survive even better with 10/1 Too many males will kill your females and each other.

    Put the pizza in compost pile. They can have a little but better off putting in compost and then let them get the bugs from it lol

    nope the chickens are staying closer since I put out the new peeps but the guineas free range lay but I know where their nests are and check them daily....chickens have always laid in their boxes or coops they never have free range laid they are out by 7 am but always put themselves up by 6pm...
