    my hen has one scab on one of the ridges on her comb. Should i be worried? is it a fungus, or was she just being rowdy, but i really have no clue.

    My coop is finally finished, and the kids moved out of the basement

    It took 2 days to paint and the Silkie is actually named Agnes, but we all call her the Llama and/or the walking cotten swab.Yep its a modified playhouse coop. My dad's first big building project, and wow.. boys and their tools, you cant get between them without getting bitten.

    haha it's an old Dynamite box that i painted on. It's a rather comfy nest box! I think it's so neat! this is the coop, its almost done, we are thinking fiesta themed "casa de gallina!"

    Suburban? i have no clue... probably suburban or rural. I dont even have an acre of land but, i dont have to cuz my chicken have a chicken tractor.YAY for tht. they would get pancaked by Rt 9D if they were free roaming.

    My ameracauna (muade) hasn't got any poof on her cheeks, While her ameracauna bantam friend (stella) has big cheek poofs. Does this mean the big ameracauna is a bigger mutt than the bantam? Or is she just taking her time to grow

    Medicated Chick starter

    I have been getting Medicated chick starter and just recently found out it is mash, but i have been feeding it to them dry. Is this a bad thing tht i feed it to them dry? About how long do i feed them tht....and then what?
