    So get this I went to oklahoma to pick up sweedish flower hen chicks for my friend ashly now she doesnt know if she wants them meep! Guess I need to get busy and build another pen I have set up this old kitchen cabinet thats in the barn for brooding but they grow quick.....orphaned chickens

    wondered if that would be an issue ive been free ranging mine but they go back and forth from the barn to outside through out the day and our eggs are always in the nestboxes so when they lay they head back does any one elses chickens do this?

    they use local cream mixed into local whole grains and the birds are kept in dark no sunlight crates for 4-6weeks before that they soley free range and are given only very little food but are given ample pasture to free range on

    The last post was a smaller water fall in sedan ks with in a few miles of the larger one at a park called the hallow.. its fed by an undergroundcreek so the smaller one only flows after a good rain or so im told..
