Okay, that makes sense. Would it leave an impact on what the gender is, though? This one is my favorite bird...so I guess I am just wanting to know if it makes an impact before I rehome her (him).
I know the black chicks are females (black stars), but I still don't know for sure on my easter eggers. I tried my best with my old iPhone, hopefully somebody can tell what these might be.

Thanks for the reply. I've got a 150W heat lamp light that I got at Wal-Mart, would that suffice for the next few weeks? If they'd be okay this week with that arrangement, at what point would it be okay to stop using the light?
