it varied a bit hun, around 4 hours though from memory. our hatch is now completed! we have 12 healthy chicks, and #13 hatched with a bit of help but is slowly on the decline, hubby is coming to help me 'put it to sleep' as it has curled legs.
i had 24 eggs, i have now got 11 chicks in the brooder and 1 still pipping, i think thats all i will have, but for first attempt 50/50 i thought was good.
for the humidity i didnt do anything extra apart from filling the water wells all the way up for lockdown, it is a great little machine...
