Hi!
I was wondering how long freshly butchered meat lasts in the fridge. We're going to be offering some ducks for sale but I'm not sure if I should go ahead and freeze them or if I can keep them fresh.
The duckling i tbougt was dead earlier isn't. He's stuck laying on his side. I tried to give him watter but he freaked out that I was so close and he unable to move. Didn't get any water in him. Anyone know what to do??
Duckling not dead after all!!! I guess he had just passes out. He still can't stand up and is just lying on his side. When I come near he freaks out and spins himself in a circle still on his side. I put a bowl of warm water next to him. Not sure what else to do.
The ducks and geese are huge and have been free ranging for a while now. I think you're right about the feed. It is only a few weeks old but aside from living in the same place its the only thing I can think of. Oh btw they are around 1.5 /2 months old.
They are all free ranged together and hang out like one big flock. The duck was a peking and the goose was a toulouse. They are all a month and a half old and we've had no problem until now.
Yesterday we had a goose die today a duckling did. Yesterday i wasn' t there when he died. Today I was... the duck was fine... literally bright eyed walking around with everyone else. Then 5 minutes later he flopped on his back and started having seizures. There are no vets around who have...
They are pekings. We have 7 ordered 5. 2 of them have very pale bills but their feet are a normal orange color. Is that common with the sign you mentioned? Will they survive?
there is some food on the ground but it does not look moldy and has only been out since yesterday. Would the food look moldy? They usually clean everything up really well.
Hi,
We received 2 extra ducklings in our order. Two of them when they arrived didn't look great so I thought oh they must have looked that way before shipping. Now a month and a half later they are doing really well. The only problem is that 2 have super pale bills. I' ve read this is a sign of...
We've just lost a month and a half old gosling. I have no idea what happened. None of the others are sick. No apparent signs of violence. Since I'm giving no possible reasons i'll say how they're kept. There is a fake pond from a baby pool. They're. Not getting in yet but are drinking from it...
