Ours also free range they like it and this actually the first hawk we got but it's fun to watch them forage and move around but any tips for another attack? Since birds are more vulnerable to kicks and the like would it be advisable to do that to a hawk on my birds?

I was wondering if you can get only girl ducks because our poor little girl lost her friends (damn racoons) and we can't risk getting too many drakes because we roosters and they will fight and that's just not good and can a broody hen adopt ducklings? I don't think this is the right thread but...
