I think she should be okay with other animals, though I'm not that sure about cats. She's never been violent during warm weather--it's just during winter that she acts up because we have to keep her...
Since this seems to be going nowhere...I'm wondering, as I've never done this before, is it hard to rehome a 3-year old hen?
We really need to find her a new home by the end of this summer...
Oh dear..thanks for that advice, but I'll wait a bit longer. I'm not in a huge hurry to rehome her--I have until September to do so (the person in our family who has the most time to look after her is moving away then), but it'd be nice to find her a new home soon.
