What's internal laying?

I was asked a lot of questions, asked to consult about certain chicken issues, like internal laying with which I have lots of sad experience, and it just happened. So, I have a lot of posts, probably the highest count on BYC still, I guess, though I didn't intend to try to do that. And I was a moderator for 5 years here as well!
