    This is Mother Hen and her adopted brood of Americanas. I think this picture is so cute, I had to share with everyone. This picture was taken this past spring when I had to move her and her babies out of the main coop.

    This was my surprise Easter egger rooster, Hawk. I got him thinking I was getting a hen when he was younger, then all of a sudden he started crowing. I'm not sure how old he is, but I sure do love him and he is so very friendly. My daughter named him Hawk because of his coloring.
