    Apologies for the delay and thanks for your help. Unfortunately it turned out to be a tumour in her mouth and throat and sadly she had to be put down. Thanks for trying to help. X

    Hi. Thanks for getting back so quickly. It's dark here now so can't take a pic but definitely a slug as could see antennae poking out the side of her beak!

    Hello! I was just wondering wether anoyone could help. I found my hen this morning with her beak open, and dirt inside. She didn’t seem to be able to close it and upon closer inspection I found she has a dead slug jammed down the back of her throat and halfway in her beak. I got some warm water...
