    RIR is being mean to our other hen

    We have 2 hens the same age. The RIR is really being mean to our other hen and she is now afraid to leave the nesting box. Also the RIR stopped laying eggs a few months ago, she is around 2yrs old. Do I separate them and if so for how long?

    We also have 2 hens and both have stopped laying eggs. One was loosing feathers but neither have been hanging out in the nesting box so I'm not sure if they would be considered Broody.

    coop kit has no roost bars, how high should they be?

    We have a small coop we put together from a kit but it doesn't have any spots for them to roost on. How high above the floor in the house should I install 1?

    We have a Rhode Island Red who was born September 19th 2014 and a Silver Laced Wyandotte who was born September 26th 2014 and are not to sure about the sex of the Rhode Island Red. We have done some research on how to know the sex but are still unsure.
