    Okay, thank you! They always move them to a random spot under the roosts though, not usually in a specific “laying” spot, if that makes sense? As if they just want them out of the nesting box…

    My roosters are mating my hens but nothing is laying

    I don’t think that that necessarily means that they are laying, but they should start laying really soon if they are almost six months :)

    I am not an expert by any means and I could be totally wrong, but I have a d’uccle and yours look pretty identical to mine! If yours have beards and muffs then they would be d’uccles, I’m pretty sure at least. Someone please correct me about all of this if I’m wrong haha
