Well, my 1 year old RIR roo decided to go after my niece... The OD went to her defense and the roo has a fractured leg... Any one have a good method to splint the leg? Its broken in the "drumstick area" just above the knee... Really hoping I don't have to put him down... This one is the OD's...

First year complete... 2 hives... bees survived the winter... wouldn't call myself a beekeeper yet... more of a bee haver.. pulled 2 medium frames and ended up with 6 pints of honey... left 4 for the hive...

Well, the wife has said I can hatch more eggs... She has set the rules though.... WHEN they hatch, either trade, sell, or eat... That's a fair deal I think... Especially when she is going to help... On a side note, the wife and I just put our seeds in trays tonight... Always bought the plants...
