I’ll try to get better photos tomorrow, but here’s a couple more of the gray chicks. I’m thinking that the one with the darker comb also has thicker legs.
Hi all, these three barnyard mix chicks for hatched on June 10, so coming in on 3 weeks old.
I realize it’s super early (and they may have all different breed mothers) but I’ve noticed one chick has a distinctly redder comb over the past few days.

This boy is 8 months old and a barnyard mix. He is large and friendly, and has the slightest cream coloring on his back. Can anyone guess what breeds he may have come from?

She has already laid two eggs, that I know of. She focused intensely on this one chick and wouldn’t tolerate him in the coop. Fine with the others. As far as I know he was okay, but she did peck him.
