What kinds of Predators have taken your birds?
My problems are foxes. A fox killed a couple of my chickens when they were free ranging in the yard and luckily my husband shot it. Recently I had my chickens out and I checked on them and I see a fox grab one of my chickens, I went running barefoot after it yelling"drop my chicken"...- Crazy chicken l

Silkies
I have a white silkie rooster. He was supposed to be a hen. I was going to get rid of him but my kids wanted him because he is so cool. They named him Yeti because he looks like a little abominal snow man. It turns out he is the best chicken ever! He rounds all the hens every night and he sits...- Crazy chicken l

Silky Hen Crowing?
You have a rooster. The same thing happened to me. Was told my white silkie was a hen then "Lola" started crowing. I was going to dispatch him but my kids love him and call him "Yeti". He turned out to be the best chicken ever! He rounds everyone up at night to make them go in the coop at night...- Crazy chicken l
