    I got him from Tractor Supply out of the brown leghorn pullet bin. Apparently they are wrong a lot.

    7 week old brown leghorn pullet or roo? I’ve been thinking roo but someone told me that brown leghorns develop early.

    I just accuired a couple of chickens last week that are about 13 weeks old. I was told that they are olive eggers but I don’t know much else about them or their parents. I have noticed that one of them has very pretty blue earlobes. Do y’all think her eggs will be blue?

    What do yall think of my 3 chicks, pullet's or roo's? There 5 weeks old. (they are fast and all over the place so its hard to get good pics of them) Thanks All 3 of them This is the only one that doesn't have tail feathers yet

    Peeked under my broody this morning and found one baby hatched then had to leave right after for an overnight field trip with my son.. It's killing me not knowing how there doing and if there all hatched yet.

    Today is day 22 under my broody, none have hatched yet but I can hear peeping.

    Got the wood crates at Walmart, just took out the top 2 slats so it will be easier for the chicks to get in and out when they hatch. :)

    I hope yall don't mind me joining in. I have 6 eggs under a broody on day 18. Were so excited to be having babies again, its been 2 years since our last hatch that was from an incubator.
