Is there any way of me knowing the sex of our little duckling? Currently everybody says she because we're hoping it's a girl, but a boy will be just as accepted too. Currently we do call her Gwen though.

What do I do about leg banding with this duckling before it gets to big. I read somewhere last night it needs to be a numbered non-break band, because the duckling is being captive reared. Can anyone tell me more about this. I used to have to band my cockatiels too, at a certain age.
