We were thinking antibiotics, if her condition worsens, so a good update! I brought her inside and put her in a nice pen with wood shavings and food and water complete with a blub that produces small quantities of warmth. I put her there at 3 in the afternoon and that meant the world to her! As...

Hello,
My 3 year old ringneck is sick, I am pretty sure she has pneumonia.
Her symptoms: short-breaths, shivers, fluffed up feathers and hunched, lethargic (she can move for a short distance then stands on one leg or lays downs) when she runs in short bursts she exhibits laboured breathing and...

My ringneck hen who laid all the eggs that are going to hatch; never ever went broody herself, she will be turning 3 years old in August and never went broody it is very perplexing. She is in a pen with her mate who is also...

Thanks, but I ve started the hatch, but I will for sure purchase that model. But i am wondering if filling the two troughs is the exact equivalent to 55 or even 66% humidity? Then when lockdown happens I ll have to boost the humidity to 80% humidity. So, for 80% humidity will I fill yet another...
Well, I currently acquired a doz and a half of geese eggs (diff. Breeds) and I just put them in my hova bator at 12:54 pm (today) and since I don't have a hydrogmeter I am just filling the water troughs as I go along. I filled two of the larger troughs today, before I put the eggs in.
