I would definitely do an artificial pip if it has been inernally pipped so long and it's day 30. Can you tell if the yolk is absorbed when the egg is candled? You may have to assist hatching. I would be tempted to help the baby if it was me.
I put 10 goose eggs in my incubator. Only 3 made it to day 27. One of those has since died, so I am left with two, and I don't know if they will even make it out of the shell. Losses are hard, but you just have to try keep trying.
Update- 2 babies are still alive but no external pip. One baby's peeping seems weaker...worries me. I'm considering doing artificial pip today. Fingers crossed and praying.
Aww:( I'm sorry....I couldnt see anything in mine on day 27 because I'm just using an LED flashlight to candle and the babies took up too much space. Are yours chickens or geese or what?
Help! I had 3 embden geese eggs make it to day 27. I think one has died since yesterday. I can hear the other two clicking and one is making tiny little peeps every once in a while. I have been doing dry incubation because the humidity here in alabama has been high.
I put a bowl of water...

I have Embden geese and Swedish blue duck eggs in the Same incubator. All were set on 3/22. When should I lock down? Please help. This is my first time with water fowl. Thanks:)
It looks to me like another chicken could have pecked her there and it's started to abscess a bit. However, looking at her comb and wattles, I see some scabby places, so it may also be fowl pox. Check out your other chicken wattles and combs and see if they also have these scabby areas.
STILL AVAILABLE AND NEED HOMES ASAP!
Hi! I have some cute and tiny Serama chicks for sale. I have boys and girls, but it's hard to distinguish between the two accurately right now. I have 12 chicks, but will probably keep 2 or 3. I hatched these myself from eggs from my two trios. They are...
I have serama hatching eggs. These eggs come from my two trios and are definitely fertile because I just hatched several myself. The babies are adorable!! I'm posting some pics of the possible moms and dads and can post some of the new babies if anyone is interested. These are by far not the...
