How does that work? I'm in Northumberland and I've only got 5 hens of which 3 are laying an egg every day still. The other two are still too young to have started laying.
This morning I found that one of my Welsummer pullets, Matilda, had laid a very unusual egg. It's about 95% white, with a small circular patch of normal pigmentation. There is no doubt that is came from a Welsummer.

I'm not massively experienced, but looking back at photos of my girls at about the same age it appears that they have much less defined/paler combs and wattles than both of yours. Might you actually have two roosters there?
I read somewhere that snow can be very stressful for chickens, particularly if they're more accustomed to warmer (and less white) surroundings. Stress can stop laying, so I'm told.
