Thank you kindly. I got my first eggs yesterday from some new Cream Legbars. But they layed them under their ramp instaed of in their nestbox and with all the rain the eggs were very muddy.
Is there a general age that you can switch over from starter feed to layer pellets for pullets? Is it according to the breed? I want to move some of my 3 month old pullets into my larger coop with older hens and am concerned as to when I can stop feeding them starter crumbles. They already get...

The cream legbars have a coop of their own. I got my first two eggs from them yesterday, they were inside the coop next to the watering can. Today I had three and they were all underneath the ramp in their run. I was thinking if that is where they want to lay then their eggs will be varmint...
