    I don't think it is. I only say this because I got 2 at once and the other was definitely a cockerel. Unfortunately he got stuck in the feeder last week and didn't make it. We were so sad!

    Yes! This one came in quick and I know the females are pretty red as well. This one is lighter in color and online says lighter color=male. This is my first time raising chicks so I am clueless!

    Is my barred rock a roo? Super friendlyn no aggressiveness. Approx 12 weeks old. Also i've got a bantam here that i thought was a buff brahma but its now getting speckles like a mille fleur but doesn't have a beard. Also approx 12 weeks old :).
