Honestly, though, why does stuff always happen to the friendliest chicken in the flock?
Background: So, my hen is about 1.5 years old, buff orpington, got her from a friend, but originally from a hatchery. I feed my flock Dumor laying feed. 2 other hens and a rooster in the flock.

So, I think my hens have lice(not 100% sure what parasite it is). Has anyone had experience with this Poultry spray? Would it be helpful to try and get pics? My broody hen is prob infected, and her comb is kinda pale, is that a really bad sign?
I put "my dog would never hurt the chickens". Usually she just ignores them, although if they are making a lot of noise she wants to run outside to see what's wrong, which I love, since sometimes there is a cat for her to chase off. The only time she will chase a chicken is if my younger sister...
Oh, that makes sense, thank you! Right now I just ride for pleasure, but it would be cool to do something else a bit down the road. Barrel racing maybe? If I ever learn English riding than jumping seems fun.

I started taking riding lessons in April. I love it. I hope to own a horse(or five) in several years.
