Let's see....the Ohio State Fair starts sometime around the end of July and ends sometime during the first week of August I believe. It stinks because it's the same time as our county fair, so it can be pretty hard to show at State and county level for me. The Ohio National Poultry Show is in November, so quite a ways! I love that documentary! My mom and I watched it sometime around X-mas or Thanksgiving I think. I really want to go to ONPS this year! My mom said that I could show there this year if I got show chickens this spring, so fingers crossed! And I hope to go to State Fair too, but most likely not for poultry, probably just one of my miscellaneous projects or maybe my dog for agility or showmanship.

Oh you aren't weird for knowing who-laid-what. I did that alot when we first got chickens... now I spend alot of time on here, so I don't know who-lays-what anymore

Turns out it was Miss Carrie who laid the "tiny" eggs. The yolks are almost as big as a normal sized egg!!! I honestly have no clue how she lays eggs that big - as big as her head. Mindblowing.

Lately Banana Smoothie has been being a snot. She keeps attacking all the other chickens. She got the back of Dot's comb pretty good;whenever she shakes her head, it splatters blood everywhere *-* She wants to be "the rooster" now that he "husband" is in heaven XD
