- What’s your main reason for joining our community?:
- 250 chickens in 4 months, so much to learn and do! I never knew how wonderful chickens were before! I think I'm going to like this small business venture!
42 or so different breeds, mostly Heritage and Dual Purpose. I will settle on a few breeds, some endangered, and keep 4/ 5 in the future, work on improving the flocks quality. Plan on selling eggs, hatchlings, compost.. in the future. Charlie was a beautiful Red Dorking Cockerel who stole my heart. His coop and run were well protected, so I thought. I lost him so fast...
