I have a flock of 7 bantam hens and some of them are approaching 4 years old. The old ones are laying less that 3 eggs a week. I want to replace them with full size hens. What should I do with the old ones?
I have regular pellet feed for mt chickens. I recently noticed that it smelled very sour, however my chickens are still eating it, and they seem to be laying less eggs but my bantams often take breaks from laying. What should I do?

I have a flock of bantams 6 hens and 1 rooster. I live in southern CT and it has been warm for the past couple days and the days are getting much longer. Also, I give them layer feed. None of the hens have layed for 3.5 - 4.5 months. Why is this? How can I get the hens to lay?
