    i live in california and don,t have any ice in my yard and the lump on her foot already looks kind of yellow and a little bloody.she is a sizzle so she can't fly.

    oh boy! i had to get my neighbor to help upload the pics we posted and neither of us is very good at this so thats the best i could do.she seems to be okay,i gave her some grapes when i got home and she doesn't seem to be lethargic

    i'm not sure that i'm doing this right

    i have soaked her feet in warm water and epsom salts and then dried it off and put antibiotic ointment on it and wrapped it in clean bandages.i don't have a way to take a pic of it right now but i will try to find someone to take the picture for me.i brought her in the house away from my other hens

    my poor little sizzle hen has a huge infected and bloody looking round lump on top of her foot.the only vet in the area that will treat chickens won't be back until next thursday so i'm seeking help for what to do,please!!!

    i have a 1 1/2 year old sizzle hen and today when i picked her up she has a huge round infected and bloody looking knot on top of her foot near her lower leg.the only vet that sees chickens won't be back until next thursday!! whats the best way to help her

    i checked him for mites and lice but didn't see anything.i use a couple of drops of frontline on my chickens every 6 weeks as recomended by sherri from california country ranch where i bought them.

    i put some pedialite in his water and he is drinking it and i also gave him some scrambled egg with a little applesauce in it and he loved that but his crop still feels mushy to me even before i gave him the egg and applesauce

    the only vet that will see chickens around here is about 30 miles away and isn't open until monday.i have him here in the house and keep giving him water and i tried to give him a little pedialite.

    my roo was fine yesterday but today he did not crow this morning and seems sick and weak.his poop is dark green with white runny urates.please tell me what to do
