    Do have a rooster? Make sure there isn't a cut. I had a hen that cut her self on some barbed wire and she lost her feathers.

    5-8 weeks. By 5 weeks they are ready for the outside world. They begin to regulate their body heat.

    This will take some time also. They need to get use to their new environment before they start laying. Also give them some yogurt. Yogurt has good bacteria in it and will help your hens digestive tract.
