Feather Loss ?

A few of my girls have a weird loss of feathers on their back near tail feathers. I have checked for lice and mites and don't see either. It has been a long cold winter could it be boredom? I have a large

run and sizable coop. Thanks

Do have a rooster?
Make sure there isn't a cut. I had a hen that cut her self on some barbed wire and she lost her feathers.

No Rooster. It actually looks like the feathers are broken in half. It is on a couple of different hens.

Could it be a vitamin deficiency? What do you feed your hens?
Have they molted yet?

They eat and organic pellet feed along with cracked corn mixed in. They are laying and otherwise acting normal. Thanks

They have not molted yet but I was told it is too early for molting in Northeast.
