    Yes, I think so, that's why it happens so fast just in several hours. I think disease will have a much longer process to show up.

    Just some follow up here. The little one is much better. I gave it antibiotic ointment yesterday now it can open its eye. BUT it's a blind eye. The good thing is it's now alright with the fellows.

    I tried again today. Nothing inside. But today this one is all fine, eating well, walking well and go with the others well. Does it look like a kind of infectious disease? Otherwise, I will still put them together because being only one is very lonely and it will keep crying if I move it out...

    4 week chick eye problem

    Hi everyone, My Silkie hen hatched many babies. But one of them seems weird today. It was fine this moring and just afternoon it was not able to open left eye. I gave it some eye drop(to kill bacteria that I use) but not worked well. Anyone can help with it?
