    Aww, I'm sorry! I believe many hens start laying around 6 months, but mine have been anywhere from six months to eight months. My Swedish Flower Hen just started laying this week, and she was born in December. My Marans were born in January and no eggs yet.

    Paprika?? Does it work?

    Don't know about paprika... Believe it or not, my husband is massively allergic to it (similar to an allergy to peanuts). He is also allergic to chicken, which is really depressing. But I would consider adding apple cider vinegar to their water!

    You should be fine! Just watch, and if they are all huddled up together and acting cold, you will know to take them where it's warm again. :)
