    She was fine yesterday but this morning after letting the girls out of the coop I noticed one of my hens leaning sort of backwards and not moving much. Then I see this.     Thanks. When we first brought her home she was laying on her side with legs stretched out. I saw a vid posted here with similar symptoms and leg out but that was a while ago now. I am leaning towards slipped tendon or leg deformity now. Thank you so much!

    Yes thanks I have a short vid I can post a youtube link to. It is uplaoding right now. We usually find her resting like this. She is usually laying down when she eats next to the feeder.

    I want to add, I just saw a video on a chick with a slipped tendon. When I tried to feel for this I didn't feel anything slip in or out of place. Could it still be a possibility?

    Also, we haven't had any additions to the flock. It has remained the same for over 8 months. The only addtitions were chicks hatched from which he was the father.
