    The owner at our supply store suggested I had super fine grit to my starter feed to help w/ our baby chicks pasting up. I've been adding it & haven't had any more problems. They range from 1 - 3 wks old.

    Dust bath for 5 day old chick

    I love when our big hens dust bathe! At 3 days old, my baby chicks were "dust bathing" in their pine shavings! Then the others would surround it & pick all the shavings off. Now at 3 wks old, I'm having to change the water ALL THE TIME because of their pine shaving baths!

    Pygmy goats and brush clearing?

    We have 2 Pygmy goats. Now that the snow is partially melting, they love to eat on more of the "woody" type trees & bushes. I read that if you want grazers for grass, you're better off w/ sheep. Goats like more rough stuff. Good Luck - oh, our "babies" are 6 months old.
