    What's the one thing you wish you had included in your coop?

    I have a raised coop, it allowed me to insulate all the way around, only wish I had included a trap door for cleaning it out.

    As a responsible caretaker, I would certainly cull my chickens as needed and without hesitation. What I'm opposed to is an over-bearing government coming onto my property and indiscriminately eradicating my entire flock. They will not check to see if it's needed, they'll just declare it to be so.

    Our Rosecomb Brown Leghorn is Teri (which is short for Teriyaki) and our two white Leghorns are Sam -n- Ella. We just added 4 more chicks this week (2 Dominiques and 2 Barnvelders) no names yet, so we'll be watching this thread as well.
