Thank you. I attempted very carefully to remove some shell. It started to bleed so I stopped immeadatly. This is day 22. It has now been almost 30 hours since pipped.
I have 3 eggs that made it to lockdown. 2/3 chicks pipped the wrong end. One has been pipped with little progress in 24hours. I can see it's alive, when do you interviene with a malpositioned chick? :/

Achilles is a trooper and still thriving! Yesterday I brought his brother inside to join him since I feel he's strong enough were he won't get injured. His leg is still taped, and has not popped out since this most recent tape "job". I've used a shirt stay as a brace. He's getting along...
