At the moment I have 6, 8 week old cockerels and i am going to keep one to breed. i have two i mind. one is aggressive but has very good features and size and the other is small but very tame and calm. I don't know which on to keep. Advice pls.
Sometimes 12 week old pullets lay eggs runny or with a thin membrane because of lack of calcium. If given grit or oyster shells in their diet, you should notice quite quickly that the eggs will have a stronger shell. this also indicates that the pullet is taking the right amount of calcium.
Well i have my commercials in a large yard so i was hoping to put the coop with the chicks in it close to the coop with the pullets in it so that they can see each other
