    First time letting a hen go broody. Let her sit on 1 egg not sure of how this would go. She became a proud mama today. Mama is a Cinnamon Queen and daddy is a RIR.

    Is this a result of frostbite?

    We had a couple nights in west central SC where the temps got down below freezing. Is the white on his comb a residual effect of frostbite or is it something else. He is a 9 mo. old red ranger.

    I need advise from you wise chicken owners. My current set up is 3 coops with their own runs. Each one has 6 to 9 hens and a rooster. The hens are made up of 6 different breeds and each rooster is a different breed. Is it ok to rotate my roosters between coops? I'm thinking of every 2 months...
