Thank you Dawg. The infection has definately gone to the bone. The surprising thing is how long he's been fighting it. His whole leg is swollen and he can walk with it but he can stand on one foot, the good one that is.

I have a couple books that told me it can be normal. I have had a few hens break their toes and heal crooked and they have no problem walking.

Sorry everybody I was mistaken, she layes light brown eggs. It had just been a while since she layed one because she was stressed out that I couldn't remember. But now I have 2 more chickens so she wont be as stressed and I got an egg today so I know its light brown. Silly me.
