    Do I need a lamp on them when they transition into the coop at 4-5 weeks old? Their feathers are coming in quickly and they are already running from the light. Even tho we moved it up higher.

    Thanks for y’all responses. We decided to keep the hens in the yard vs concrete. The law says it has to be at least 10 ft from the house. We have a nice shade tree we are going to put them under.
